Christmas is coming!

Dont forget our special projects for Christmas. SGA is doing a toy drive and the elementary students are collecting toys for needy children at the Shepherd's Staff. Be sure the toy that you bring is unwrapped. We are also collecting items to send to our soldier, Trevor Davis, that we pray for each day in class. His wife is spending a bundle buying stuff and sending packages to him so this will help her out also and he can share stuff with his "buddies" over there with him. Also remember your permission slips and money for Looneys. I would like for the first six people in our roll, Robin, Mockingbird, Cardinal, Meadowlark, Goldfinch, and Bluebird to send some kind of goody for our Christmas party. It doesnt matter what you send. We will be eating it at the skating rink for our snack time.

As far as major grades for the rest of this quarter:
We have a special project coming up in Science, a poster on any topic you choose from chapter 4, 5, 6, or 7. It must be full size poster and there are no other guidelines. It is due on Dec. 20, Thursday. It can be an experiment or an informational poster about anything in those chapters. This is an easy 100 for a test grade in Science. We have one more test coming up for chapter 7 in Science, one more EXAM for history on chap. 15-18 (for which I will send a study sheet next week)as well as an open book test for chap. 18, and a states/capitals test. We have one more test in Language on plurals, diagramming, and pronouns as well as our book report in class which is a test grade. We also have 3 more spelling tests, 3 more Bible tests, and 2 more math tests. So there are plenty of chances to pull up grades you may be worried about. Stay busy until we get out and then you will have 2 weeks of REST and RELAXATION (I know, we really don't get any rest at Christmas break; but at least we can get a break from school work)!!!
